Privacy Policy
TheFakeOnes (“we”, “us”) helps people review social media ad screenshots and find potentially cheaper product matches. This policy explains what we collect and how long we keep it.
What we collect
- WhatsApp phone number (stored only as a one-way hash for allowlisting and rate limits)
- Screenshots or links you send for analysis
- Technical logs needed to operate the service (timestamps, delivery IDs)
- Optional labels you (the admin) attach to beta testers
How we use it
- To run image and domain checks and reply with results
- To enforce private-beta allowlisting and abuse limits
- To improve accuracy of red-flag detection
How long we keep screenshots
Uploaded screenshots are stored temporarily for processing and are deleted within 24 hours. Analysis summaries may be kept longer so we can improve the product and support beta testers.
Processors
We use infrastructure and AI/search providers to process requests (for example Cloudflare, Neon, Google Gemini, and SerpAPI). They only receive what is needed to fulfill your request.

We do not sell personal data
We do not sell your phone number, screenshots, or analysis history.
